2010 update

Sorry for not updating sooner, we have been busy dealing with Cathy's Mom's death and settling her estate.

I am recovering from pneumonia. It has been a long 4 weeks. Going to doctor tomorrow to get release, or not. Sure get tired easily.

We are planning on going to Ireland in 2010 to help with Save Europe's Children again. Watch for updates on when and where to send donations.

25th Anniversary trip to Tokyo, Japan

We are taking our 25th anniversary trip to Tokyo, Japan in March of 2009 to visit our friends Wayne and Vonnie Padgett who were our neighbors and friends for 10 years in Jenks, Oklahoma. Watch for pictures and links in email to Kodak's site for daily updates.

Bangladesh 2008

I am headed to Bangladesh with Robert Craig on Sept 18th. Pray for a safe and fruitful trip.
We will be gone until Oct 1st.
Our mission is to setup and train the college students at the bible college on how a computer works, how to install software, troubleshooting some bad computers and doing some network installation.

Ireland - 2008

We are very close to our goal of funds needed for our trip and only a few weeks left to go. I would like to thank everyone that has contributed and encourage you to continue praying for us and the kids that we will be in contact with each day.
We leave on March 23rd at 3pm from Tulsa, fly to Atlanta for a small layover and then on to Dublin on a 767/400. We will return on March 31st late in the evening.

Update:
We had a wonderful trip over and back, it seemed a little rushed, so we are planning to go back again someday and take our time.

Ireland - Pray for us

March 23rd of this year, we will be traveling to Ireland to be assistant and teachers at the Save Europe's Children conference. James Abeyta, our children's pastor will be leading the group of 7 of us, from Oklahoma and California. We will be in charge of the 5 years old to 9 year old children and there will be from 50 to 75 of them.
This year's theme is The 10 Commandments.

Since retirement (for Wayne) in 2002, we have traveled a little, spent time with relatives in Iowa and Minnesota and of course Oklahoma where Cathy's Mom still resides.

We have been in the same home since we got married in 1983, and yes, this year will be our 25th wedding anniversary!
